About Us

The United Way of Comal County envisions a united community where all human service needs are met. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for people in Comal County by generating resources to meet the needs of our community. Since 2008, the United Way has awarded almost $6,000,000 to support more than 250 programs that include feeding the hungry, providing safety to those in danger, furnishing educational and fitness programs for our youth and elderly, and keeping the lights on for those in crisis. This fund provides an opportunity for donors to establish a legacy by supporting their local United Way.

Thanks to all our supporters during the campaign year. United Way of Comal County continues to achieve much success with the help of our donors and many dedicated people working every day to make a difference in people’s lives. Our purpose is many fold, we work to assess on a continuing basis the need for human service programs, work to develop financial resources, and deploy financial support. Within that scope, we achieve to muster community support and manage United Way resources as effectively as possible in a cost-efficient manner.

Please continue to give. Put yourself in the way and give where you live. Please designate #825 when pledging to keep Comal helping Comal.  For campaigns outside of Comal County, please designate your gift to come home. See the How to Give page for giving options.
